The Englander 25 PAH Pellet Auxiliary Heater
This overview of the Englander 25 PAH also applies to the Summers Heat 55 SHPAH and the Timberridge 55 TRPAH which are the same stove. Introduced in the summer of 2009, this stove uses Englander's modern single auger system.
The 25 PAH can heat up to 2,000 square feet with an output of 25,000 btu. per hour.
With its large 120 lb. hopper it will burn for 72 hours on the low setting, (See Comments below), and has a large ash pan.
This stove has a newly designed burn pot which enables a realistic flame pattern with less cleaning.
In appearance, it is uncompromisingly square and functional - rather like a small furnace but not unattractive.

Comments
Although the Englander 25 PAH can burn for 72 hours between hopper refills, the ashes have to be emptied every day even though the ash pan is large. Residual ash in the burn pot must be brushed into the ash pan.
The output of 25,000 btu./hr. seems a little low for the rated 2,000 square feet
Maintenance
Daily: Empty ash pan.
Twice a week: Scrape residue from burn pot and its air holes.
Monthly: Clean ash from the exhaust chamber. Inspect the vent pipe and clean as necessary.
Yearly: Clean the exhaust and convection blowers, empty fines from the hopper, Check gasket seals
